ROBO-HI Corporation has launched a new weather-information feature in the RoboVision® AI camera remote monitoring and control app. The feature uses advanced AI Vision to analyze weather conditions in real time. The app is now available on the App Store and Google Play.
The new feature lets AI analyze the live camera feed directly — detecting cloud shapes, falling raindrops, and lightning in real time. Based on the captured data, the system calculates the probability of rain, the lightning risk, and predicts the start or end times of heavy rainfall events at the camera's exact location.
In addition, RoboVision displays the next-30-minute forecast as a real-time countdown. As a result, RoboVision is more than just an imaging & remote-control tool — it becomes an "on-site smart weather observation station," supporting better decision-making for construction-site safety, outdoor facility operations, and weather-exposed event management.
WHY THIS NEW FEATURE MATTERS
Traditional weather apps and meteorological radars rely on broad regional data, which makes it hard to detect local, real-time severe-weather events such as sudden heavy rain or lightning strikes at a specific site.
RoboVision's new weather feature overcomes this limitation by letting AI analyze images directly at the camera's location — the way a human observer would look at the sky — delivering highly accurate, real-time forecast data.
